Three ways to stay, depending on what brings you to Ojika and how long you’re here: a private room with its own bath, an easygoing guesthouse (capsule) bunk, and “Goen-no-Sato” for longer working stays. Plain in the way an island inn should be — but genuinely clean and comfortable.
Room types
- Shimayado Goen — private room (with unit bath) · the main building, 14 rooms. Good for sightseeing, business trips and solo travel.
- Guesthouse — dormitory (capsule) · mixed-gender, ten two-tier capsules. Junior-high age and older.
- Goen-no-Sato — private rooms for longer stays · ten private rooms, suited to work, training or extended trips.
The whole-house rental is not offered through general booking — it is handled case by case (by phone, for returning guests).
Rates
All rates are per person, per night, including tax. Plans: room only / breakfast / dinner / half board. See the rate table under each room type below. For the most current prices and live availability, use the “Check availability” button.

Wi-Fi is available throughout — in every room of the main building, in the guesthouse capsules, and in each Goen-no-Sato room. It handles normal browsing, video and video calls. As on any remote island, speeds can dip or wobble at times depending on the hour, the weather and where you are. There is no wired LAN and no pocket Wi-Fi rental.
