Check-in / Check-out
Check-in 1:00 PM–8:00 PM · check-out by 10:00. If you need to check in after 8:00 PM, please let us know in advance.
Pick-up
Staying guests get a free ride between the Ojika Port ferry terminal (Fuefuki) and Shimayado Goen, 8:00–20:00. Let us know your boat in advance (same-day is usually fine too). See Getting here.
Payment
At the front desk we take cash, credit card and PayPay. Electronic money (transport IC cards, iD, QUICPay, etc.) is not accepted. Card prepayment is available when you book through this site (489pro). For OTA bookings (Rakuten Travel, Jalan, Booking.com, etc.), the payment terms shown on that site and plan apply. Receipts and invoice billing are both available.
Cancellations
To cancel or change a booking, call +81-959-56-2588 or email shimayadogoen@gmail.com.
Direct bookings (this site, phone, email):
- Up to 8 days before: free
- 7–4 days before: 30% of the accommodation charge
- 3–2 days before: 50%
- Day before: 80%
- On the day: 100%
- No-show / no contact: 100%
For bookings made through Rakuten Travel, Jalan, Booking.com and similar sites, that site’s and plan’s cancellation terms take precedence.
If the ferry or fast boat to Ojika is cancelled due to weather and reaching the island becomes impossible, no cancellation fee applies. If boats are running and you can still get to the island, or only your island itinerary (such as a Nozaki Island visit) changes, the normal terms apply.
