Rental car — cover the island in comfort
Two Solio and one Hustler, three cars in all. Good for families or when you have luggage. All non-smoking, with air conditioning. Vehicles, availability and booking are kept up to date on the Goen Rent-a-Car site.

Fuel
For the 3–24 hour plans, fuel is included and you don’t need to refill. Only for long rentals of 4 days or more, please return the car with a full tank.
Sat-nav
The cars generally don’t have sat-nav. Only one car has it. We’ll do our best if you ask, but same-day bookings and vehicle changes mean we can’t guarantee the car with sat-nav. A phone map app works fine for getting around the island.
Good to know
- All prices shown include tax.
- Opening hours are 6:00–20:00. If you return the car later than your booked time, overtime is ¥1,500 (tax incl.) per hour and ¥7,500 (tax incl.) per day.
- There is no collision damage waiver. Repair costs for accidents, contact or damage are the renter’s responsibility. If the car is out of use, a business-loss charge (daily rental rate × days of repair) also applies.
- Third-party liability for injury and property is unlimited; personal accident cover is up to ¥5,000,000.
- To keep the cars clean, we ask that you not use a rental car for fishing trips.

Moped — light and easy (from ¥4,000)
Mopeds are available for hire. You’ll need a valid licence that permits you to ride one. Open to non-guests as well. No extra age limit, no deposit. Fuel is included in the price.
